The Vibrating Rod Level Switch (VLS) offers a reliable solution for single-point level detection in free-flowing solids. Ideal for use in tanks, silos, and hopper bins, it accommodates a wide range of bulk materials — from fine powders and grains to aggregates — across various bulk densities.
Its single-rod design effectively eliminates the common issues associated with tuning fork switches, such as material bridging or clogging. The rod is kept in resonance by an internal electronic circuit. When the rod is covered by material, the resulting damping of vibration is detected, triggering the output relay after an adjustable time delay.
With its robust and simple design, the VLS ensures dependable level detection in even the most challenging bulk solid applications.
